About the Foundation

The Point Pleasant Foundation for Excellence in Education was established in 1997 as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities within the Point Pleasant School District. Operating independently of the Board of Education, the Foundation strengthens community involvement by supporting programs that enrich the values, traditions, and educational experiences of Point Pleasant Schools.
The Foundation is committed to fostering excellence through strong community partnerships, student development, and innovative teaching. By recognizing outstanding achievement and providing resources beyond those available through traditional school funding, the Foundation helps promote educational excellence and enrich the quality of life throughout the community.
Our members include parents, alumni, business professionals, and community leaders. While many are not directly affiliated with the school district, they share a common commitment to supporting the students, educators, and future of Point Pleasant Schools.
